CineEquation is an independent movie guessing game. The goal is simple: identify a hidden movie from a sequence of factual clues connecting it to other films.
Why CineEquation?
Many movie games rely on recognizing a still image, poster, soundtrack or quote. CineEquation takes a different approach. It turns structured film information into a deduction puzzle, so what matters is the relationship between movies rather than copyrighted footage or artwork.
How the puzzles are built
The puzzle engine can use connections such as shared directors, cast members, genres, production countries and carefully selected release-date information. A Daily puzzle starts with a broad clue and unlocks additional clues after wrong guesses.
Practice Mode uses the same core system and lets players choose a difficulty without affecting their Daily streak or statistics.
Movie data
CineEquation's movie catalogue is sourced primarily from structured Wikidata records and stored locally for gameplay. Automated safeguards avoid using uncertain release-date data in clues where possible, and reported data problems can be corrected manually.
Structured sources can still contain mistakes or unusual regional release dates. If you notice an incorrect movie fact or a weak clue, use the feedback option in the game so it can be reviewed.
Independent and spoiler-friendly
CineEquation is not affiliated with film studios, distributors or streaming services. The current game does not use movie posters, film stills, trailers, music or quoted dialogue as puzzle content. Shared Daily results are designed not to reveal the answer.
English and Turkish
The main game can be played in English or Turkish. The project is being refined gradually using gameplay data and player feedback rather than adding features simply for the sake of it.

Neden farklı?
Oyun; film karesi, poster, fragman, müzik veya replik tanımaya dayanmaz. Bunun yerine yönetmen, oyuncu, tür, yapım ülkesi ve güvenilir çıkış tarihi bilgileri gibi ilişkileri bir mantık bulmacasına dönüştürür.
Film verileri nereden geliyor?
Film kataloğu ağırlıklı olarak Wikidata'daki yapılandırılmış bilgilerden oluşturulur ve oyun sırasında hızlı kullanılabilmesi için yerel olarak saklanır. Şüpheli tarih bilgileri mümkün olduğunca kronolojik ipuçlarında kullanılmaz. Bildirilen hatalar ayrıca elle düzeltilebilir.

CineEquation film stüdyoları, dağıtımcılar veya yayın platformlarıyla bağlantılı değildir. Günlük sonuçlar paylaşılırken gizli filmin cevabı gösterilmez.
