CineEquation is a daily movie guessing game built around connections between films. You do not need to recognize a screenshot, poster or quote. Instead, you use clues about directors, cast members, genres, countries and release dates to work out the answer.
The Daily puzzle
- Start with one clue.The first clue connects the hidden movie to another film.
- Search for a movie.Choose a title from the search suggestions and submit your guess.
- Unlock the next clue.Every wrong guess reveals one more clue.
- Find the answer in six guesses.The Daily puzzle can be completed once each day.
What can a clue tell you?
01It shares a cast member with another movie.
02At least one of its directors also directed another film.
03It shares a main genre or production country with another movie.
04Its release year or release period may narrow the possibilities.
Clues are generated from factual movie relationships. Later clues are usually more specific, so the puzzle becomes easier as you use more guesses.
Daily vs. Practice Mode
Daily
One official puzzle per day. Daily results count toward your streak and statistics.
Practice
Play as many extra puzzles as you like. Practice results do not affect your Daily stats.
Difficulty in Practice Mode
Easy, Medium and Hard use the same basic puzzle logic but change how informative the early clues are. Hard mode keeps the more precise clues for later guesses.
Sharing your result
When you finish the Daily puzzle, you can share your result without revealing the movie. The share card shows your attempts and difficulty, not the answer.

Günlük ve Alıştırma arasındaki fark
Günlük bulmaca serini ve istatistiklerini etkiler. Alıştırma modunda ise istediğin kadar ek bulmaca çözebilirsin; sonuçlar günlük istatistiklerine eklenmez.
Zorluk seviyeleri
Alıştırma modundaki Kolay, Orta ve Zor seçenekleri ipuçlarının sırasını değiştirir. Zor modda daha belirgin ipuçları sonraki tahminlere bırakılır.
